T234 Parts & Service manuals

I have searched quite a bit & I am having no success in finding manuals for my new to me T234 tractor. I am also trying to find a part number for the inner Tie Rod dust cover boots. I believe this tractor is a 2017 or 2018.

Thank you. I have ta T234 and this set of manuals states they are for a T293. Are there differences between the T293 & T234?

How has it held up, I'm hesitate to buy a China made tractor but I can't afford anything else.
Found 2017 with 285hrs with no headlights asking $8500 with 3rd function.

First the TYM is not China built. TYM Corporation, based in Seoul, South Korea, manufactures TYM tractors. The company was founded in 1951 as Tong Yang Moolsan, but changed its name to TYM in 2020.
My understanding is they produce several different brands sold under different names. I'm not 100% sure of this , but I beleive Manhindra is one of them.
As for how this tractor has held up for me. I bought this from my neighbor when he was moving from NC to TX in September of 2023 with 35 hrs on it. It now has 179 hours. The tractor has always been stored outside & I recently had to remove the battery tray. Remove the rust, coat it with POR15 a rust inhibitor & repaint it I also had to make a new hold down strap. Other than this I have had no issues. This tractor has definately not been abused & most of the use has been mowing my front 1 acre with a finishing mower, using a box scraper on my sand/gravel driveway, & using the front end loader for piling up leaves after I vacumn them with a Cyclone rake. I live at the coast with very sandy soil.

Tony in the parts dept. has been a good source of info & parts for my tractor. I have never been to their shop, always dealt with Tony by phone. He found the correct tie rod dust covers that know else could seem to find. Which is where this post originated.

Smith's Enterprises has an archive of older TYM manuals online whihc hee archived just before TYM redid TYM World site and took the manuals of the older machines down. That is where I found the manuals for my T233 and T293.

So, the T233, T273, T293, and T234 are all essentially the same tractors, and share many of the same parts and procedures. The major differences being which Mitsubishi engine in what state of tune is in them, and the tire/wheel sizes.

T233 Mitsubishi S3L at 23-hp
T273 Mitsubishi S3L2 at 27-hp
T293 Mitsubishi S4L at 29-hp
T234 Mitsubishi S3L2 at 23-hp, but I think more torque than the tune in the T233.

I see on Tractor Data that the T254 has less lifting power, weighs less.
T264 is s/a T234 but all have different engine, Yanmar, Mits, Kukje.
Same tires size.
My thinking is buy a used one for more then half the price of new with same features as T264, 1907lbs, 1380lb FEL, Mits motor.
Only concern is 6.7 total flow is this enough for 3rd function.
8k for a 2017 T234 with 285hrs makes sense to me, am I missing something?

It'll take a 3rd function with no problem, just keep lift capacity in mind. If you're looking to put a grapple on it- be sure to put some protection on the front! You don't need a rogue stick or branch punching into something important. Also, a lightweight grapple will preserve more of your lifting capacity.

The T234 has the Mitsubishi engine.

I'll add these as a bonus here.
Then you can cross reference part numbers and find better deals on parts.

I was a moderator on the Mitsubishi-Satoh tractor forum a while back, but stopped due to taking the position as the Yanmar owner/moderator presently.
