I have a t353 and am in need of some help. A few years back I mistakenly melted my engine electrical harness. Due to moving and a lack of space to store, i sat out side for a few years. Now its time to fix and sell.
I rewired the harness in question and am getting basically nothing. At this point i'm wondering if any one has some suggestions on how to proceed?
The parts are very expensive.
I have energized the start relay and the tractor did start. The moment I take the 12v off the coil of the relay it dies.
When turning the ignitiion switch should I get something on the dash?
If the controller is bad does that render everything non functional?
I'm about to pull the ignition switch and test that. Has anyone bypassed the controller and just wired the tractor so a simple push button for glow plugs prior to start and then an conventional starter switch?
I would appreciate any help at all
