Yeah, I usually grab fuel as needed... I use the tractor mainly for getting fields ready to seed in the spring, and tilled under in the fall.

We are looking at building another new property in KY, which will be 20-50 acres, and we are on 8 acres now. I'll be going through a lot more fuel when that happens.

So moving to KY? Or, just a getaway? Are you close to there now? Inquiring minds want to know.

I think my wife would veto any attempt at more land. I had to push for more than 5-10 acres.

Retire at 51. 5 more years. Move to KY where we have family. We are there every month.

The plan is a bigger apiary, a few cattle, grow some hay.

So we are looking for 20+ acres to buy now, make improvements for a few years, then move down and finish it up.

Back in Texas I got a chance to sit in a 4820 CH and it is definitely tighter than the kym version. Also while the tym has a three color paint scheme I noticed the 4820 only has the single color of red everywhere inside the wheels on the steps.
I'm happy about our decision to go with the 494 now just waiting for the factory third function kit as they are delayed until the first part of August.

I am sure it will be worth the wait to have a system that was designed to go with the tractor from the factory versus an aftermarket

The new TYMs are supposed to be going to all red wheels too, that’s one thing TYM adopted from Branson.

My Branson has the charcoal grey frame, steps etc. My hydraulic top link actually matched well!

I looked at a new 4820 yesterday and found a loose bolt lying on top of the ROPs mounting plate above the axle. The dealer said it had to have come from the factory like that. No idea how a bolt didn't roll off during shipping. Even though the operator's platform seems bigger on the 4820, it seemed like the platform on the 3515 was easier to get on/off. The dealer was a former Branson dealer and it seemed like he is still gravitating towards stocking rebranded Branson/TYM models.

My dealer is the same way. They even lowered the price on the 4820/5520 to match. So far, I'm still happy with my choice. Of course, like most of us, we don't have a long term side-by-side comparison and tend to confirm our own bias.

No way the factory bolt would still be there after shipping and assembly. Even if it was a factory mistake, the dealer should have fixed it before any customers saw it.

I am 6'1, 250-260 and can easily get on and off the 574 from either side.

It wasn't confidence inspiring to see the loose bolt. He was asking $31,000 for the 4820 with the shuttle shift, BTW. It was a disappointing trip because I hoped to see more TYM models.
