I Just ran across this thread 63spyder . I wished I,d of seen it before . You have the only other 255 i,ve heard of allthough Mine does not have a cab . Can You share some pics .

I,m not real sure on the pump oil , I,ll have to look at mine , It the first time I,ve had the engine covers off in a long time  . But I can tell You Your gonna love that tractor , Its a real workhorse . Must be nice to have a cab though :( :D . Bob

Oil level and drain plugs are usually 10mm bolt heads with a screw driver slot. One will be the level/fill the other the drain. The same as bleeders on the fuel system.

I found out that the injection pump is fed off of the engine oil .I really enjoy this tractor ,it has lots of power and turns on a dime.Im pulling a box drag behind it now,and plan on putting a front loader on this spring.Ill try and put pictures on as soon as I figure out how.

Looking forward to seeing the pics 63spyder . I,m still fighting trying to find the correct filters , But I,m getting it narrowed down  .

I,m also trying to figure out about the injector pump & if its supplyed by Engine oil or not . Can you tell by looking at a few pics ? I,ll attach a few here .

As far as how to post them , In a new thread Or if You hit the reply button you can scroll down to the Manage attachments button , Click on that & it will open up a new window where You can browse the photos & Upload them from wherever You keep them stored on your puter , You might need to resize them so there not to big for the forum , I just have My camera set to make them forum friendlly . Hope that helps . Bob

HI ,on mine the injecter pump has an oil line that runs from the oil filter area to behind the injecter pump you have to use a mirror to see its conection to the pump.I shure hope thats what it is because i tryed to put oil in mine and could not find a drain plug and what oil i put in it went right on through.Still runs good though.:)
The filter numbers are
air-6497 ( around 60 dollars )
oil-1348
hydraulic-1664 this is a 25 micron filter,I read on here that 10 micron was too fine and would restrict the intake to the pump(around 30 dollars)

On my tractor the fuel filter is cleanable and I did not find another filter for fuel on the tractor.I thought about installing a screw on style someday.

If yours has four wheel drive as mine does then to change the front axle fluid I found that if you pull the top plugs in the steering knukles when putting fluid back in it allows air to escape and makes it easier ,also when putting oil back in the engine put a funnel in the dipstick hole on the side of the engine and put oil in there ,its almost impossable to pour oil in the vent on top of the valve cover due to baffling in there I still havent got the picture thing worked out guess I'll have to ask the kid

Thanks for the info 63spyder , I,ll check the oil line you mentioned . As far as the filters I,m having a hard time finding those #,s . I,m not saying there not the right ones .

But according to the info I,ve found the air filter is a Napa 6496 & The Measurements & looks , seem to be just like mine . Seems its only 1 # off . But according to this link its almost half the price . NAPA Farming Air Filters - Global Fleet Filtration

I,m not really concerned about price with any of them , I just want to make sure there the right ones . Same way with the Oil filter , Compared to the ones I,ve been told is suposed to fit , They are larger then the one I have on now . Pics would be a great help & if it would be easier for you to post them through Email I can send you a pm with my Email addy . I,m just curious to see the same model with a cab on it . :D . Thanks again , Bob

PM sent :D . If your talking about the black box on top of the right fender its to control the 3 point system . Mine has a cylinder on the lift arm that it controled by the toggle switch in the middle that allows it to tilt . The 2 knobs are settings on how fast it goes up I beleive . I also have a box under the seat but I still have no clue what thats for .

I have a Koyker 155 front loader on the front . I use a 6 foot finish mower , 5 foot box blade & had a post hole digger but sold it recentlly . Thanks again . Bob
