Tafe tractors and other Korean trac- Nice machines

Yes I am a dealer so im alittle biased but I just recieved my first dilivery of the Tafe compact tractors,Nice machine for the money,They are mfg. by LG in Korea,they all have 4 cylinder mitsubishi diesel engines,the hydro's use eaton pumps,dual remotes are standard as well as draft control and priced great compared to the others with similar features.So b4 you go out and buy one of the big 3, Give those Korean tractors a good solid look,Their are about 6 Korean tractor out their which wil provide a great machine with great reliability and a great value when you consider the price,weight,features and overall desighn

Any truth in the story that the LG tractors were designed by Hyundai,then later sold to the cable company?

I havent heard that b4 so I cant comment on it,Ill have to ask the rep to see if he heard that

Doesn't LG also build the Landtracs for Long Agribusiness? If they do, the TAFE tractors are probably pretty nice.

Yes the 40 hp and above are built in India. The TAFE tractor factory is a Massey Ferguson licensee. The tractors they build and sell in India are painted red and are labled and sold as Massey Ferguson. Massey, now AGCO supplies blue prints to them of the tractors, usualy discontinued models. The tractors are not allowed to be sold outside India with Massey ID, so they are painted brown and yellow and sold as TAFE (Tractor And Farm Equipment). The compacts are LG from Korea.
