Tag on vintage rops

The ROPS are obviously not original to the tractor. From those model numbers I would guess it probably was salvaged from a Case.

Ok.. thanks, I will check case to see if I can get the model numbers to match up.

When I try to remove some paint on the rops it looks like it is grey over blue over red. I know that many of the early Ford's and Fergusons were every similar when it came to the back ends. I assume the cases were as well?

Looking at tractordata.com,. It seems that the tractor company David Brown has tractors in the 700s, 800s, 900s, a 1200 series and a 3800 and a 4600 series tractor. So it looks like there is a good chance that the rops was made for one of these tractors. All of these tractors were being made in the late 60s.
