Just had two trees cut down today, fewer leaves to worry about, fewer branches to worry about falling on shop or house.
I've never done any leaf catching. However, as a teenager one of my martial arts teachers taught me to practice iaijustsu (drawing and cutting with a Japanese sword) and kenjutsu (fighting with a Japanese sword) accuracy skills by using the falling leaves as targets. You think it's hard to catch one with your hand, try hitting one with a sword or bokken (wooden practice sword). It's been one of my favorite Fall activities for over 30 years.
Now there's a Crash I've never seen. Thanks for the reality check.
