John Deere 3320
Hello Everyone. You all have a great website here and excellant discussions. I have been reading them for quite a while. After shopping for 2 years I bit the bullet and bought a new JD 3320 with the power/reverser and 300cx loader with heavy duty bucket and the big R-4's. I also ordered a Frontier RC1060 5 foot brush hog. I had the rear tires filled with beet juice. $19,000.00 for the whole works. The tractor was MFG in sept of 2005. It was considered distrested because of sitting over one year. The dealer has several locations and found this one up north for me.There was a lot of incentives for a cash deal. The dealer tells me it is a 2006 even though it was made in sept 2005. The serial# ends with 205. Is the dealer correct? It does not really matter to me for that price for a new 3320 with full warranty. I even got him to give it an oil change. I had a 1 1/2 acre pond draglined out last fall. My dad and I dug it 35 years ago with an old P&H dragline. I have a lot of dirt to move. I tried out Blue, Orange and Green. I had to buy Green. It was the best to me. To each his own. I had a Yanmar1610D and an old 9N ford. I can't wait untill tommorow. Thanks for all your great posts. Jerry

Congratulations on your purchase. I did some work on an old P&H unit in a scrapyard in Houston. Did yours have the Waukesha gas engine? Where are you located? Take a minute to fill in your profile, makes it easier for folks to help you if they know where you are, what kinds of equipment you have, etc. Welcome to TBN.

IMHO, the 3320 is one of the best tractors Deere builds. You're going to like that power-reverser!
Let's see some pics when your machine comes in...
Congrats on your purchase!

Thanks for the comments and pic's guys. I took delivery tonight. The dealer up north switched tires and didn't tell the other dealers. He would have come out in a week or so and gave me the bigger R-4's or refund me the difference. He is new to beet juice so he didn't know that you should use tubes in case your tires ferment or get drunk in 10 years. Anyhow I took a refund and kept the smaller R-4's. It didn't matter that much to me. I updated my profile and I will send pics with the pond and dirt later. I do think that was a Waukesha engine in the P&H crane. It was 35 years ago and I was only in 8th grade. I was around equipment with my father all my life. He passed away in 1994. Gotta get to bed. long run tommorow and we are supposed to get 3 to 6 inches of snow in Wisconsin. Later, Jer
