It arrives tomorrow about 10 am, I will be prowling the driveway about 9 am. One night away, why does it feel so long? Would it be crazy to mow my lawn this late in the season? I need to get a grease gun and some grease, along with Kubota fluids to keep on hand.

My wife and I own 10 acres and I been mowing one acre with a Honda 21" deck walk behind for seven summers, so I figure I've earned this tractor. I will be mowing two acres in the coming new year. I will post pictures tomorrow.

Thanks again to all who replied. This is a great website with many helpful, smart, and innovative people.

Regards,

Luis Leon

Can't help but think probably because you are still a "youngster..."

Not that I am an "oldster" by any means...but still...sometime I miss those feelings of anticipation... /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Gentlemen,

Got my BX23 this morning. Man, what a great feeling it is to receive a new tractor. It seems like last night was the longest night. Anyway I got to play a little today, rode her all around the property to see how she handled the terrain. In the back of my property I have some wide grassy paths, and their was a big tree that had fallen down across one. I was able to push aside with the FEL, that was really cool. Have also begun taking out some stumps that I had been eyeing.

All in all I'm very happy with my purchase, I started thinking maybe I bought too small, before taking delivery. But the BX23 is sized just right for my needs, as a compact would have been a little too big for my mowing needs. I took off the mower as it was getting in the way in the back forty. It was very easy to do, on the weekend I will take off the FEL and backhoe and do a little mowing even though it is late in the season. I will post my pictures as soon as I figure out how.

Thanks again to all.

Luis Leon
