We sold our old 477 to our neighbor couple years ago with a 256 RollaBar rake. Condition is paramount when purchasing an older haybine. The unit we sold was in good working condition. A drive chain had to be replaced this year but in the two years that they have owned it has done a good job. New Holland parts support is excellent.
Lots of folks on TBN are going to drum mowers. Not a lot of market penetration here for those. Still see mostly older New Holland haybines or newer discbines on larger farms. It comes down to dealer and parts support. Here New Holland is the king.
