Tanaka ecs-3351 d - Chain??

Hi all,
Re above, does anyone know what size chain I need? Google says the chain bar is 14"

Looking at Tanaka website, I see 14 x 3/8

The numbers should be stamped on the bar. You need the pitch (i.e. 3/8 or .375 or 3/8 Low Profile), the gauge (i.e .50, .58) and the number of links. With those three numbers you can order chain from anyone even if they have no clue what a Tanaka needs.

A 14" bar probably does not use regular 3/8 but would be likely to have 3/8 LP. It's smaller than normal 3/8 with a narrower kerf.

Bailey's has a massive chainsaw chain selector on their web site that lets you find chains by the saw and bar length.

As Ericm979 mentioned, Baileys has a Chainsaw Bar Selector on their web site. Go there, choose your brand and model of saw from the column on the left, and they will present you with a number of choices. Since some saws have a variety of optional bar lengths, you'll need to have an idea of what length you want.

They have a similar selector for chains (assuming you have already selected your bar length).
