We are importers of CNC machined parts, hydraulic motors, hydraulic cylinders, custom wire harnesses, etc. I've been sourcing in China for over 25 years and am in China right now, flying home on Sunday. I also have a Jinma 284 tractor and have put around 500 trouble free hours on it. Several years ago I visited the Jinma factory and posted pictures of same. Having said all of that, I considerable myself somewhat qualified to speak on the subject of this thread.
Tommy @ Affordable and others are correct about the insurance, broker charges, inland freight etc. plus you'll need a one time bond. These charges can add up but if you can successfully account for all the fees it might still seem to be a good deal "on paper".
I imported a BH and Chipper for myself. In spite of the detail on our PO and in spite of my factory visit, not to mention the support of long time business associates in China, the sweetness of the price wore off pretty fast:
I received the wrong BH, wrong hoses, two wrong pumps, wrong frame mount, missing parts, defective/cracked parts, leaking and impossible to repair hose connection, internally damaged swing cylinder, etc. In hindsight, I would have been better off buying a quality Korean hoe from someone like Affordable.
You'll be pretty much on your own when you have problems. Keep in mind I bought mine factory direct and not from somebody on Alibaba who claims to be a manufacturer.
After one season of use, a fastener inside one of the swing cylinders fell off and scored the entire wall of the cylinder, allowing oil to bypass and run on the ground.
There's a good reason why few folks sell them anymore.
No one asked for my advice but if you want my advice, don't buy one.
..just my two cents.
