TBN Meeting

( How many of you TBNers have met other TBNers? )

It took a couple of tries but I finally managed to meet up with Mosey down in Southern Indiana. I travel by there a few times a year on my way down to Kentucky. I certainly enjoyed my visit with him. I tried to arrange to meet thcri (Murph) while on my trip up to Minnesota this week but it doesn't look like we can make it happen with our schedules. I'm probably coming close to Golfgar4's place on my way through Wisconsin today (I'm currently in my van at a rest area outside of Baraboo WI) . If I would have thought of it I would have tried to arrange to meet him as well. Bob, I would like to meet you so don't be surprised if you here from me next time I know I'm coming through NY.

Spence,

If you're using I-90/39, you're about 5 miles east of where I am. You'll go by the east side of Janesville, and I'm on the west side. Next time you're going to be in the area, let me know. Even if it's just for a short stop at one of our east side places, it would be fun to meet! Send me an e-mail anytime! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Anytime you're near Baraboo, if you haven't already done so, you need to visit the Ringling Bros. Circus museum there. We had to spend two days there in that museum and make lots of pictures. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Oh yeah? Well, I got attacked by clowns in that place! Right in the center ring of the big top! They had me jumping rope with a sack over my head. Everytime the whistle blew, I was supposed to jump. They kept blowing faster and faster until I figured out there wasn't any rope. When I took the sack off my head, there was no on in the ring but me /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif (our kids loved it. We've been there twice. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif)

Spence...

You're welcome to stop by anytime if and when you're in the Capital District, upstate New York. Just let me know ahead of time so I re-arrange my schedule if needed.

...Bob

Golfgar4, I'll be heading through tomorrow (Sat), PM me a phone #. Maybe I can meet you at a local restaurant for a meal. I won't know until tomorrow what time but I wil try to give you as much notice as possible. If you already have plans don't worry about it, we can try again another time.

Bird is the only TBNer I've met. I managed to slip away from work long enough to have a quick lunch with him a few weeks back. Having lunch with Bird is like logging on to TBN. The time just flies and before you know it, you have to leave before you want to. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif Maybe we should have a "Texas TBNers' Roundup." With that many texans in one place we could break the world record for telling "lies" and bragging. /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Sounds like a good idea to me, Jim. We could invite the northern folks, too, to see if any of them could compete for the record. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif
