We are drifting off the thread, but:

According to the water experts around here, you can get rid of about everything except iron.

We use bottled water for drinking and cooking.

We tried a reverse osmosis unit for the drinking water, I rented one from Culligan. Lasted about 3 weeks. Glad I rented it. /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

We also have a really up-to-date bathtub.......it's tie-dyed!!!

don't know who told u that but if u add chlorine to the water it will chase the iron, i had water that was loaded with iron and salt, use a chlorinator to chase the iron, and bacteria, then a sftener to remove that and then a RO to remove the salt. worked fine for many years, now i have municipal water. btw how did we go from tbn shirts to water? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Maybe Muhammad could set up a booth at the National Farm Machinary Show in Louisville KY in February. We could pick our shirts up there and drink complementary coffee. All in favor say Aye.

I didn't want a "white" Tee shirt. Any color but white. Preferrably a darker color. With me, white turns pink.

You got that right. The last two times I went the show there was snow on the ground and I wore my jacket in, and then I carried that jacket all day long. It gets a little warm inside.
