TBN\'s first Power Trac now has a new home...

I picked up PTRich's Power Trac 425 tonight and brought it home. It turned over 250 hours while I was unloading everything. I'm already quite impressed with this Quick Attach -- I hooked up to and moved 5 implements from the trailer parked on the street to the back of the house and unhooked them, in less than 10 minutes total, without ever leaving the seat. Now, it's time to clean it up, service it, and start playing with it....

Thanks, Rich -- it was a pleasure to meet you, and deal with you! Thanks to everyone else who patiently answered my questions, also!

Thanks All!

With this low number of hours, and for less than 1/2 the cost of a new one with these attachments, I felt that I could "live with" the weaker wheel motors and 8" less lift... plus I actually prefer the Kohler due to wider parts availability.

Now, to assemble the specific attachment package I need. I need to either buy a grapple bucket or convert my rock bucket, plus I want a mini-hoe. Lower on the list are a light material bucket, and a set of forks.

I'll be selling/trading the 60" finish mower for sure, since it's too big for my current and future lawn, and I have both 42" and 48" decks with a vacuum cart for my other tractors... and perhaps the 60" 6-way blade, since I have a 46" HD dozer blade, 48" belly grader blade, and 42" boxblade for my other tractors ...

Anyone interested in buying/selling/trading attachments? If so, please contact me, because I'll be putting these in the classifieds soon...

Hold off on selling that snow blade until after winter. See how you like it. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

The Power Trac will likely be spending the winters in Tennessee, while I'm driving my Simplicity 3112 with cab and 42" snowblower or Allis-Chalmers with 46" dozer blade in Massachusetts...

I'm certainly looking forward to the day that I can get rid of that snowblower and winter cab! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Tracdoc posted in the last month that he was selling his fairly new (2004) 48" mower because he wanted to buy a 60" mower (that might be the one advertised on the power trac website). Maybe he would be interested in a swap.

48" mower deck for sale thread

I might be interested in the blade, although I barely have two nickels to rub together after purchasing my PT422 last month.

How is the fire extinguisher attached to the ROPs support pole.
