I like my dog house. I do get to spend allot of time there . So in the past few years it has all the comforts of home. Shop tools galore, cable to watch the patriots 36" color TV, stereo and surround sound, Microwave and fridge, Internet for TBN and my own bathroom shower included. 32' x 40' workshop . It is also the home of my MF1260. My wife is now trying to take over she realized that I was getting to much quiet time
I'll just paint something then she will leave because of the smell.

I came here looking for information about buying my new tractor.... I started building things for it the day I bought it. I picked some great ideas from here and have my own "doghouse" the 24x40 shop across from the wifes house. She to doesn't have a problem with me buying tools or whatever. Heck it was her idea to buy a new tractor. Well after I took her to see an abused 790 JD. She said no way you are buying that ugly old piece of crap, go get a new one. I generally look at this board everyday or so and this line cracked me up "My wife calls it tractor ****" she says that all the time.... She lets me know when funds are getting tight but for the most part no problems. When I built my forks I said look at this showed her the forks from Northern Tool at 499. Mine ran around 100. HA! She loved me saving money!

Thanks for the kind words about the barn. People around here may not know my name or where I live, but then someone will chime in and say, "You know, he's the guy that built the big red barn on the corner." Then they know right where I live. The barn is pretty big 38'x56' and 31' tall. I found the plans on a Canadian website with blueprints in a PDF file, and I got here built for less than I had to pay for my tractor. The Amish came out to do the siding, otherwise, it was dad and me and an occasional 3rd set of hands. The mow is 19' tall and I have a basketball goal up there. A half court shot with the full arc is no problem. It holds a lot of hay, too. When it rains anyway.

I do not think anyoone "officially" welcomed you to TBN . So welcome to TBN ! There is nothing wrong with tractor **** and it is relatively safe . There are far worse outlets . I am usually in the doghouse for something. I am getting used to Interceptor and Spot On for flea, tick, and worm control . I am still working "She Who Must Be Obeyed" for a welder . Jay

I have been working on a set of bucket forks and I've been away from the computer, I'll start a new thread with pictures after I get them cleaned up. I've hauled a lot of brush with them already. They seem to be holding up well. Going to town this evening to get some paint.
