I think your beef is primarily with New Holland. You can't blame the local dealer if he won't fix your tractor with money out of his own pocket. He has supplied your consumables for 200 hours which is almost nil. If NH won't support him, he is just going to continue to say, "Out of warranty!"
I'm with you on this, I dont expect the dealer to do anything but maybe try to talk to the rep or help me with his service rate, I told him the moment this tractor was fixed it was gone, and asked him for a trade number when doing so, that to me says "here is your time to shine", but nothing except the fact that I'm standing on my own with this problem, and he would look the tractor over when it was fixed for a value. Its not his problem but that dosent expain why New Holland wants you to be so crazy loyal to one dealer from the begining of time to the bitter end, even if that end is the end of the dealership. Even if i had the avalability of my origional dealer that went out of business, how is it his faut or place to fix a unit that was a factory defect? I'm fine with being loyal to a dealer, but when the service is sub par like the new local group, all bets are off.
