Hi All,
Finally got around to taking off the brush Hog and with
a little playing around managed to re-install the
Woods frame mounted 7500 Backhoe. My Dealer mounted
a rear mounted hydrolic hookup for the snowblower shoot
that also runs the backhoe hydrolics. So off into the puckerbrush I went.
First job I dreamed up was to clear the heavy brush behind
my shed that managed to overgrow right up to it for the
last 6 yrs. I plan to make a lean-to off of it for some winter
attachment storage. Off to work I went, first with the fel
grabbing the heavy thick vines and growth, then it was time
to try the hoe. Downriggers down, me in the seat I was ready
to kick butt on some heavy vegitation. I have some (but limited)
time working a backhoe so I guess you would say Iam a newbie.
No problem here, up down left right..things were moving
and clearing just fine. I did notice that my swing was a little
weak in moving brush from side to side. I kicked up the rpms
on the motor( I had it set to where my 540 pto speed is
on my tach) and kicked it up a few hundred. That seemed to solve the
power problem. Now that being said, I dont know about
you people out there but It was time to breese thru the
manuals for recomended rpm speed while operating
my backhoe. I bet everybody reads the manual first like
me. /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif
I could not find anything on it so then I went to the NH tc 30
manual and also nada. The Woods Backhoe runs from the
Internal pump and I could not find anything on engine
RPM while using Impliments. Anybody out there have any
clue what the proper enging RPM is while I destroy my
landscape?? Other than a little jerkiness in one of the
cylinders, This hoe did do some damage in a hurry, I
was suprised at the power from this little unit.
Thanks in advance
