TC 30 Tach

I have a TC 30 that has about 300 hours. When it had about 50 hours the tachometer stoped working. They replaced it and it has been working great. Now with about 300 hours the tach hand jumps around and is never steady. Is there something wrong with these tachs or have i just got 2 bad ones. Also is there an easy fix or something that might be causing this.

I have about 120 hours on my 4yr old TC30. No tach problems to report.

Not familiar with the TC30 tach, but if cable driven it could be a cable needing lube ?

I would talk to dealer. If he replaced one, he may also warranty this one since first one was bad also. You may have an electrical problem causing tach problems

Is there any thing I can check before i take it back to dealer?
Don't think the tach has a cable to lube but may be wrong about that. It seems to be working but the hand jumps around. Not smooth like it was.Just irratic movement.
