TC 30

Having been using new Holland oil in my tc30 10w40 since i bought it new in 2001 . Our dealer, I believe is going out of business. Went to get the oil and he did not have any.Said maybe in a week or so. I can drive to the next dealer about 30 miles away and get it but was wondering is now a good time to change to Rotella synthetic. Will it hurt any thing. Tractor has I believe 300 hours. Always was told by my dad when growing up,whatever oil you start with you finish with. I know oil is much better now and prob won't make any difference.

Any oil that meets the specs in your Operators Manual will be fine, including Rotella synthetic. Your dad's advice no longer applies...if it ever did.
