Has anyone noticed their tractors rear-PTO light staying halfway lit while the PTO is not engaged. I noticed this a while back and then it went away and now it has come back.

I haven't seen anything like that. About 130 hrs now. My wife did inform me this weekend that the cruise control doesn't work - I'll have to get that looked into when I'm not using it.

If I can stop in here for a moment as a non owner. (not yet) Hope what you are seeing is a loose wiring harness or connection. The amount of reostats and pots on the new ones still eludes me. Something I'll have to look closer at. Hope these are easy fixes and both of you report back.

I have aTC29D which had the same problem. I found a loose connection in the wiring harness directly below the PTO levers (plug-in is located a few inches above the axle) the connection was half out of its socket. A piece of brush was still hanging on the plug-in.

I could never find a loose wire and when I had the tractor in the dealer installed a new sensor unit; however the light still stays on half way - any ideas.

I would check for foreign material in both of the PTO switches ( dirt or water or a combination of both). has the tractor been near water or been sprayed with water?
