Of course a large group of the early black frame Class III oil coolers are junk.

I found them. You must think I am a dummy. Well I am, because I did not read ALL of the posts here FIRST.

Anyway, found the hoses, sure enough they are splitting and cracked, no leaks -yet!
Dealer has a 2 sets ordered one to replace now, and a spare to keep on hand. I was afraid to have a custom set made due to the expansion issue mentioned in other posts.

Again.. no boomer.. But I have been still watching the thread. I went out again and looke dat my hoses to check condition. Though faded.. they are dry, no cracks or other signs of distress. Look pretty much the same as the PS hoses.. so I'm guessing these are OEM hoses with 700+ hours on them.. ( mine are the ones looped into a 'coil' to make the 90' turn to the oil cooler.. etc ).. Looks like at least 2 wire hyd hose. maybee 1/2 or 3/8 id.. just guessing... Had to stand on my tiptoes to even see them... tractor is just a wee bit tall.. and I'm a wee bit short /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
