A Big thanks to you Mosey. I'm sorry for your lesson but it has sure saved me and I'm sure lot's of others a big headache and dissapointment.
<font color="blue">Actually, the M246 mounted on Class II Boomer weighs 1377 lbs, which is 537 lbs more than the 7308. The M246 mount weighs 320 lbs more than the 7308 mount, but most of it is not very far back - it's right behind the front wheels so it adds a lot of weight to the front of the tractor</font>
The 401 lb diff I got was from another dealer, but after talking to the dealer I actually bought from, he confirmed your numbers and he even agreed that it was too heavy for that frame size.
The good news is that he agreed to put the 7308 loader on it for only $150.00 more /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif The bad news is that It's going to take about 10 days to get it. At least he already delivered the tractor and I'm having a great time with it.
