TC 33D Turf tires

Hey thanks for the information. I just went from a TC21D to a TC29D and have not been happy with my industrial tires. I was on the 21 but not the 29. Must be something to do with the weight. I will try lowering the tire pressure next spring and see if that helps

I had industrial on both the 21 and now the 29. my dealer really pushed them. In fact when he ordered my 29 he had to take it with turf. He was so sold on the industrial he ordered a set a long with the tractor and changed them out. He sent the turf back. I had no trouble on my yard with the 21, but since i got the 29 i end up with ruts. i have to be really careful and make sure it is dry. even then i get ruts. kind of wishing i went with the turf.

I have turfs on my B-7500 and have had no problems. My primary use of the tractor is mowing so I knew I wanted turfs, I had originally thought that snow removal may be a problem, but I have been pleasantly surprized, I have had excellent traction even on frozen compacted snow on asphalt.

Are you always running in 4wd? or are your tires filled. I've been really pleased with the "no damage" my 40D with R4's is doing, (or should I say, 'not doing').

Are you asking me if they are filled with fluid?? Just air that I am aware of. And no I don't use 4 wheel drive or I really would tear it up on the turns.

Out of town until February 3rd see you all then

Heck , I use AG tires all the way around...........

I'll try lowering the air pressure and see if that helps any, other than that I tell Mama that I am aeriating (sp?) the grass

By the way the yard was only put in 2 years ago

WAs thinking of getting old car tires to put on the front and see if that did anything

Sorry to hear that. I"m not seeing the same problem even though my tractor is quite a bit heavier. I don't have supersteer and I don't ever mow the same or next day after a rain. I try not to turn super-sharp, but even when I do, I'm not seeing a problem. Good luck.

Well ...just got the tc33 out from it's winter nap and ventured into the mowing zone for the season.........My wife and kids along with GMA went to the beach for the week and I was left with orders to cut the grass while they're gone.........She rolled our 3 acres twice before she left and I waited for three sunny days in a row so the yard would be reasonably dry before mowing. IF YOU READ THIS POST BEFORE....i replaced my 25 year old kubota last fall with a new tc33D......Mowed once with it(yard was dry and solid as asphalt) AND PUT IT AWAY FOR THE SEASON. I questioned the dealer about the r-4's and he said that they would do fine in my application as they are a good mix between ag and turf. Well..........After mowing a week after most of my neighbors my yard looks like they just ran the world MOTOCROSS CHAMPIONSHIPS........... the R-4 tires tore the h#!!...........out of my yard. I'm off to the dealer tomorrow and hope someone who bought turfs needs R-4s. and wants to trade. See attachment.........Tom
