Price Check TC 40 Package Price

Hello,
I got a price from my local dealer on a TC 40 with: 16LA loader and a 958C backhoe.
TC 40 and loader = 19900.00
958C backhoe = 7000.00
The backhoe price seems high to me, what do you think? Does this sound like a good deal or is there room to dicker?

I think tractor price is high also.
I got 35D,R4,SS,1 remote,block heat,arm rests,200# front wt.,84"MMM
for $20,500
MMM and loader about same price.
Woods 9000 hoe w/ subframe is around $ 7000.00

I just purchased a TC35D from an upstate NY dealer, then found this site. It has super steer, block heater, sun canopy, rear wheel wgts, R4 tires, 17LA loader, HD bucket, deluxe seat, and traded my old machine Ford model 1720 4wd with loader. I got $17,500.00 for my trade and paid $9700.00 for the upgrade. How do you think I did? Hope I didnt pay too much.

Back in June I paid $18,100 for a TC40+ and a 16LA loader. I call it a TC40+ since it had some of the TC40D features like the folding ROPS and telescoping rear links. At the time, I felt like I got a good price and the dealer was really good as well.

I went back to the dealer a couple of weeks ago to purchase the toolbox for it (non-deluxe style that mounts on the fender which I like better) and he stated he had sold four more like mine but that because he had to order them, the price was going to be closer to list. I guess I was lucky to hit the dealership during a slow period.

Nothing seems out of line, too far. I'd concentrate on the dealer. Get some referals, etc. I've been back to my dealer a couple of times for warrenty work and he's been great. If you think your guy is the best in the area get some other prices from others and sit back down with him. You could add the 50 hour service for example or an additional remote, etc. I'd also stick with the NH backhoe unless the dealer will support another brand. If you need a cab now is the time to talk about that as well. Don't forget about financing packages and good luck!
