Tc 40DA problems...

1. Your dealer sucks, something awful, go somewhere else, right now.

2. I have both a TC and a TN
The TN is a MUCH better tractor than the TC.
I would never try to run hay equipment with the TC, just not big enough and sturdy enough to handle that beating. You need to be in a utility class tractor (see point 1 above) to be doing hay.
3. My fully equipped TN75DA was less than 8k more than my TC45DA. That's NOT $300 extra a month. (see point 1 above)
4. The TC rides terrible, no argument. Worse than my MF 1433 (compact), I even loaded the tires, makes no difference. It wants a smooth surface, it will go fast over rough surfaces, but beat you to death while doing it.

I agree about the air conditioning in the TC (it rules in the TN)

funny how you have both tractors that we had on our farm. The TN was a very nice tractor, did everything we wanted, and even cruised at 20 mph down the road with a full wagon of hay behind it... very nice... cant afford that tractor, and that's why we wanted a smaller tractor, that and geting around the farm is always easier with a smaller tractor, barn cleanout and such...

seems like you have the same problems as us... it surprises me how many other tc40da owners love their tractors, and have no complaints, do they just not know any better?

the dealer knew what we needed it for, and never once mentioned needing a different class tractor for our needs, or we would have been more then happy to do so...

we have discontinued using this dealer for ANYTHING, the extra 30 minute ride is so worth it.

it surprises me how many other tc40da owners love their tractors, and have no complaints, do they just not know any better?

I have only owned tractors for the past 12 years. I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed when it comes to tractors, though it doesn't take a rocket scientist to know if the a/c is working or if there is loud noise coming from something. You would think that all these tractors would come off the line the same. Mine was built in Dublin, GA. After 80 hrs, things seem to be fine. Now that I've said that.....all ****'s about to break loose. haha

I hate to hear about your problems, though I am glad to hear that you have found a better dealer. Hope things work out for ya.
