TC Muffler Delete

I noticed on the parts diagram that my muffler was simply a welded module inside of a hollow cast cavity. There was only one appropriate course of action.

No unpleasant increase in sound level, but based on the amount of carbon that was jammed into that muffler I'm sure she can breathe better now.

My tc30 has the manifold on it from a 1520 with the upright muffler. Mesh side panel had to be cutout for the pipe to come out but looks factory and no dirty loader arm/wheel from the exhaust!

Excellent! I'm a bit of a bushwhacker when I'm clearing brush. I always felt like if I had a stack that a branch would have snapped my muffler off by now. I'm glad it works for you though. Be safe and enjoy your machine!

That is the "spark arrestor" portion u took out. No working straw with that tractor now.

Interesting, good to know. It was listed as muffler on the diagrams but I know the naming can't always be accurate. I'm certainly picky with leaving spark arrestors in boats, hadn't considered it with the tractor. Thanks for the word of warning.
