I had a TC21D with a FEL and 60" MMM. I did not have a backhoe for it. My problem was I had to steep of hills to work on. I got a 60" bucket for moving mostly snow. The problem is when moving dirt it was too easy to fill the bucket up too much and putting yourself in a dangerous situation. I ended up taking mine back and getting the TC29D. My price for my set up was around $13,500.00. But you will find that area has a lot to do with pricing. So maybe someone from your area can give you more details on pricing.
As far as the 21 it will take pretty good care of you and doing most functions with the backhoe and FEL. Just make sure you have the right bucket with it. I know there is some guys on TBN that even have the 18 with the backhoe.

You should also price the TC24D. In my area the price difference between the TC21D and TC24D is between $200 to $300.

My understanding is the frame size of the 18, 21 and 24 are the same. The NH backhoe is a subframe-mounted apparatus.
I recently was quoted $10,200 for the TD24D, $3,550 for the 12LA loader and $5,200 for the 756C BH.

That seems very competitive with the comparable Kubota's. I would give that more than a passing glance. I like blue also.... I just wish the dealer kept the Boomers in stock to check out.. I may have to travel just to see one in person...

The new holland backhoe is frame mount a fair price for the package would be between 19000-20000.
My Kubota & New Holland dealer quoted me right at 20K for a TC24D with loader and Backhoe. I think I will go with the BX22TLB, Box Scraper and Roto-Tiller with all the extras, tooth bar, hooks, trailer hitch, etc for about $17,500. It will take about a week to get either tractor. It looks like Kubota is in my future. I have to go up and sign on the line first.... I'll see if I am ready in the morning..
