I didn't know really how else how to explain so I called it that. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif But the "frame" of the tractor is actually the motor and transmission and then things are bolt to those. This setup just seemed to be a lot simpler and also a log stronger setup. Though I don't really know for sure if that is the case.

I saw that someone mentioned the 1/4" valving vs. the position control. When I was looking I had know idea what the difference was even when people explained it to me. But now that I've had position control I would have a hard time going to a tractor w/o it.

Forgot to mention this earlier, but someone else mentioned the Supersteer option as available on the NH. Not on the Class 1 machines so that also removes that out of the equation. Also on the 3PH capacity and not needing the extra lift capacity. Any fence posts you would ever need to pull? The 3PH does a great job with that and but sometimes you might need all of the ooomph you can get. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Hey Jim

I understand your old school frame now. I have a Yanmar buildt that way. I thought all small tractors were made that way. To tell you the truth I didn't know the Kubota Bs had frames. I'm then assuming that the motor/trans/axle assy doesn't have to be as heavy because its not supporting the weight?

Any 3ph control is better than whats on my 25yr old yanmar.
Strictly up or down, its a little tuff to find just the right height.
