They delivered my new TC24D Saturday morning at 8:15 A.M. Sorry it took so long to post, but I've real busy w/ it and unfortunately the car/truck both needed a little TLC. The grass had gotten high off to the side of the house so bushhogged it on Saturday before we mowed it on Sunday. Managed to get it stuck twice. Well not really stuck, but had been backing down a ditch and bushhogging it, then I decided that I wanted some sand/gravel out of the ditch to make a ramp so that I could put it in the shed. The tractor would back itself back up the hill in 4 low. Wouldn't even spin the tires. Couldn't use the loader to help as the ground where the loader was was too soft. Just hooked the truck to the draw bar and backed it back up the hill not a big event other than I got the front tires a little dirty.
Did have one problem. After playing w/ the tractor for about 20 minutes or so I told my wife that I was going to use the mmm for about 15 minutes so that I could grease it per the manual and check the wheel lugs. After about 2 minutes the left front tire came off /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif. Fortunately still had the loader on so it was a non-event. Found 4 of the 5 lug nuts lifted the front w/ the fel (I know I should have used a jack/jack stands but didn't want to drag them that far.) stuck the wheel back on promptly drove it back to the shed and tightened all of the lugs w/ the impact gun. Did seem to mess the threads up on the lugs a little bit and reamed the holes on the wheel a little bit. Just talked w/ the dealer. He will order new lugs/wheel and bring them up and stick them on and make just the hub wasn't hurt. While he is here he is also going to help me get the pins out of the loader.
Had a lot of fun w/ the tractor and got a lot of work done w/ it. So glad it finally made it /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif- at least until the first payment. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
Here is the first picture. All clean and ready for work. We'll actually I had already played and gotten it dirty so I sprayed it off for her debut pictures.
