This is one pass of cut grass w/ the tractor and the pull behind lawn mower. Around 110" or so. Still have some work to do to get them mowing at the same heigth. Also will have to figure out another way to hook it up. When I first hooked it up everything was OK, but then when I lowered the mower deck when I actually started mowing and turned left the lift arm took out the controls for the pull behind /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif After that I decided to park it for the day. Sorry didn't get any pictures of the destruction.

Unfortunately, I'm still relegated to push mowing. Did have one good laugh though while push mowing. I watch a guy almost wreck his motorcycle. Not sure if he was looking at the tractor or my wife. Just had to laugh. Can't be starring so much as to not be able to control the motorcycle.

This is the task at hand to mow. Already had bushhogged part of it that had gotten really high. You can see in the background the need for the KK.

BTW, last one for now.

Jim,

Congrats on your new toys! As you have no doubt realized, you have to get the mud out from the inside of your front wheel hubs. After a temporary period of mourning, you will after a while find the mud and inevitable scratches become badges of accomplishment and honor.

Your jackstand comment caught my attention and reminded me of my own stupidity. I lift up the front end of my B2910 all the time to install and remove my MMM, and have also done so to remove the front wheels. I have always felt comfortable doing this as long as I didnt put any of my body parts under the tractor. I dont happen to own any jackstands. The problem is, I sometimes do go under the tractor when I am hooking the MMM's pto shaft onto the mid-pto. I can hook it up when the tractor is on the ground, but it is definitely easier when the front end is elevated by the FEL. Every time I do this I am nervous and mentally curse myself for being so lazy. Just yesterday, in fact, while surfing about tractors, I came across a report of a tractor mechanic who was severly injured when the tractor hydraulics failed on a large TLB, pinning him for hours before a crane was called in to lift the TLB off him. I'm going to buy some lightweight jackstands today and stop taking this risk in the future.

I was also curious about the tow behind mower you mentioned. Are you using that in addition to the MMM, or what?

Congratulations! You sure are ready for everything with the FEL, MMM, and rotary cutter all mounted at the same time! /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

Nice pictures - keep 'em coming! /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Have fun and be safe! /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

More like, hadn't figured out how to take it apart yet. I've now got the rotary cutter off and I've taken the mmm off and put it back on. Can't get the loader off yet though. When the dealer comes to fix the wheel/lugs we are going to go over that. Hopefully it is just tight from being new. He is supposed to come up one evening this week.

I thought there for awhile Gary you were going to be me and get your tractor first, but we finally were able to get the house refinanced and made the purchase possible. Good luck with the continuation of your search. Hope everything comes together for you so that you can get your tractor (which ever you might choose) on the accelerated schedule you were talking about. Now I've got to start looking for attachments. Guess it trully never ends. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Jim,
Congrats on the new Tractor /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
See my post on the loader pins.

Had the same exact problems, including the loader pins and left front wheel coming loose on my TC18.

I remember reading that, but had forgotten about it. Must be something about the left front tires. I believe I read somewhere on here that someone else lost a left front. New Holland better get a new guy on that part of the line as he must be sleeping. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif At least it isn't dealer specific. When I talked to the dealer this morning he said they were going to start checking them.

Thanks Jim! /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Actually, the wife and I were out last night looking at 40 acres that has a real nice "recently remodeled" home on it. It has some nice out buildings, and even 3 large silos that the current owner rents out. We're real interested, so we're going to get a copy of the plot map to see how the acreage lays out. We want to sub divide into 5 acre parcels and sell them off. Then we'd live in the existing home while we built our new place and then sell it off once we moved into the new house. If somehow this thing works out soon, I'll need to get the tractor pretty quick! /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

We're making progress! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
