Price Check TC24D Price

Thought I would finally write something instead of reading all ya'lls info. Great site! I have been looking for a CUT for some time now and I think I have made up my mind on the TC24D. (versus Orange) I would like to know if you all think these prices look good or not. TC24D $11,200 / 12LA FEL $3,636 / 756C BH $5,604 / 480 Bush Hog Box Scraper $450 Total $20,890 Included with this deal is delivery 3.5 hour drive and tires will be filled with water and Methanol??? (not sure if it is methanol or not) What do you think. Does this sound like a good deal or can I find it somewhere else cheaper. <font color="blue"> </font>

Welcome to TBN. The area you live in makes a big difference in price. If you got some time finish filling out your profile and let us know where abouts you are from.

As far as the price on the tractor I think you are doing fine. The loader seems a bit high to me. The backhoe I can't tell you as I have no experience with them. The Box Scraper seems to be in line.

But again the area you live in has a lot to do with it. I would check another near by New Holland dealer also just for keeping your dealer honest. It never hurts.

As far as the TC24D, it is a really nice tractor. It will pretty much handle whatever you ask it to do.

Here in Ohio, the tractor price you have would be pretty good, but the FEL might be a little high. I'm looking at 16.8k for tractor, 12LA, and 914A 60" MMM Rear Discharge. Don't have the exact breakdown in front of me. That included tax, & delivery & pick-up for all warranty work.

Thanks for the info. I have filled in the rest of my information and plan on keeping this site updated with my tractor buying process. I am back to the point of trying to decide between orange or blue. B7800 versus TC24D. Any Information in regards to this decision would be helpful. Thanks again!

I live in south GA and bought a 24D a couple of months ago from Dixon tractor in Blackshear. I don't know how close you live, but I did see that you have a long delivery. Mine is gear and FWD, tractor price was $9900. You might want to give them a call and see what he has to say. Their information is on the NH web site. I love my 24D so far and have no complaints. Good luck.

I just got my TC24D last weekend and I paid $17,300 for the tractor, 12la FEL and the 914a 60" MMM including tax and delivery. I live in Connecticut if that makes any difference, but the price I paid was about the best I could find. I love it, I don't know how I lived without it!

Im in NH and here are the prices I got today:

TC24D 12100

NH backhoe 5700

Im thinking that the dealer probably has some room to move whether its money off the bottomline, merchandise or service. If he's not interested in dealing moneywise I thought Id see if he'll spring for loading the tires, adding 50' of chain w/ hooks, a tooth bar for the loader and a work light on the ROP.

Id be interested in hearing from any one in NH who would share prices. jimg

I just wanted to let you all know, I was able to get a little better deal after I did some shopping around. I returned to the first dealer i went to due to the fact that they have a very nice dealership and have been in business for over 50 years. They matched the other deal and ordered all new equipment for me including the tractor, even though they had one on there lot. It is as follows,

TC24D with R4(loaded) tires and Hydrostatic trans $10,900
NH 12LA FEL with 54" bucket $3,500
NH 756C BH with 12" bucket $5,500
Bush Hog SBX 480 box blade $450
Woods RD600-2 Rear Finish Mower with chains $1,750

total $22,100 /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I think that is about as good as I am going to be able to do. What do you think?

WOW, great price on the machine and hoe! I really appreciate your posting as it gives me some idea of what other dealerships are willing to do. I believe Ill rethink my position when I see my dealer next. Thanx again!

Before you scream and holler too much at your dealer about the price you were quoted, keep in mind the geographical price differences that are well documented on TBN. I've read many posts from people in New England who state they can't seem to get a price as low as those in other parts of the country. Of course, it won't hurt to scream a little but I'd guess (from what i've read on this forum) that the dealers in your part of the country won't match the prices we have down here. I hope you prove me wrong.
