Interesting...OTOH upstate NY and NE really arent that different distancewise from GA. So, I dont see much difference in cost to get a machine there vs NE. If the dealer there can give a good discount I suspect a dealer here can come pretty close to that number. We shall see... jimg

My dealer just drove over to the plant in Dublin, GA and picked mine up. No shipping costs at all (other than his time and gas). I can see where this could easily account for several hundred dollars compared to paying freight charges to New England or anywhere of significant distance from here.

Yeah thats good that he can do that! I can tell you he still has to pay but not as much as if it was shipped to him...New Holland charges a dealer pickup charge that is roughly half the shipping charge.
