Nice idea! How does it change the engine sound? What is different?

I don't know how to describe it, it's just different.

The biggest thing is probably that the exhaust was moved from the front where it was hitting the loader cross bar to the side where it hits nothing. I'm sure when it was hitting the loader, some of that noise was getting bounced back at me.

I have been told by many people that those "pinches" in the exhust routing are there to provide back pressure for the turbo. Have you seen any performance difference?

I haven't.

I don't know that my original exhaust pipe could have provided much back pressure. It was just a piece of 1"-1 1/8" pipe with no major bends or pinches. It looks like the only reason for the bends was to get it to come out where they wanted it.
