Tractor pulls come to mind, Bob

You know those racing slicks will do you no good over that wet area. You'd be stuck in a heartbeat. Actully you may just sit and spin those tires in the grass.
But come back to reality my friend, you DON'T have a turbo and Monica is NOT gonna let you buy slicks /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Mega,

I'm old fashioned and I own a Long 2310 but I'll say this. Any front discharge of fumes logically would end up in your nose. The trend to
put exhaust pipes in a hidden manner was akin to putting fragrance
dispencers in rest rooms /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif. There's no true way to completely
escape fumes or exhuast from a machine with an engine in front of you.

It's gotta go somewhere. /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

I didn't really have an issue with the exhaust out the front, but I know what you're talking about from an old Troy-Bilt riding mower. Mowing the lawn was just short of putting a hose in the window.

I am not a NH engineer, but I'm guessing the reason for the exhaust in front versus out the side is there was no guaranteed place to put it. All the modifications I've seen (including mine) are somehow tied to the loader mount. Without the loader, any exhaust out the side would be out in the open.

Obviously, I did have an issue because I moved it.

What I meant to say was I didn't have an issue with the exhaust coming back in my face.
