Yep, I really do think this is the better way to go - at least in my case. I just went from no mtg back to a biggie (at least in my eyes), and I do want to get rid of that as soon as possible. Even though the upfront expenditure is greater buying new, no matter how I slice and dice it - assuming I keep the tractor indefinitely - then paying down the mtg is unquestionably the biggest overall savings. Plus, the $70/mo or so in mtg savings can be directed right at the $350/mo tractor payment. And, I don't mind telling you, I would be more comfortable with new blue and an extra year on the warranty. Oh Lordy, don't you love high-finance! Not too often you can justify spending so much more on new vs. a good used bargain to the wifey, eh? /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif Thanks all for your input.
