I think all the new compacts come with the hyd. line plugs. I had to order a set for my sub compact. But if you don't have a set, I'd recommend buying them from your dealer - mine ran $20 for a set of 4. I only got the ones for the tractor side, but I think the compacts also have the loader side plugs.

Funny you should mention that. I ordered a set earlier this year. When they came in my wife is the one that picked them up. Only the side for the loader came in. I put those on and ordered the side for the tractor. Last week she was supposed to pick up an oil & fuel filter for me and get those. She forgot to go so she had her sister go pick up the oil & fuel filter for me - but they forgot the plugs. So I'm trying. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif I just don't make it to the dealer that often. That is both a good and bad thing. Means I'm not having any problems with the tractor and I don't spend money buying toys err....tools while I'm there /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif but I'm not buying any new attachments either. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

The original couplers leaked, whether connected or not. But mostly when connected. I am aware that they drip when first disconnected, but even after washing all the residue off, they leaked/sweat and dirt would collect. The parts guy at the dealer said he's heard of quite a few NH couplers leak.

I did try new O rings prior to replacing them, and resealed all the threads on both sides...same results. So the parts guy advised another brand and I replaced them. Maybe the original ones were from a bad batch?? Either way, I think I'll reinstall the originals and keep the newer ones before I trade it in. If the ones on the new FEL give me a problem, I can replace them with the better ones.

BTW...I used the plugs and caps when disconnected from day one, and always kept the couplers clean. So I doubt dirt was the cause of failure. Appears to me that it is a quality control issue. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Based on what my parts guy said, I'm surprised that the other NH owners here at TBN have not complained about them. /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif
