Price Check TC24DA Price in Ohio

   / TC24DA Price in Ohio #11
I'm pretty disappointed with the New Holland & Case dealers here in SW Ohio, they don't seem to care if they sell a tractor or not?!?! They know very little about the CUT's they have in stock but if I wanted a Combine they would be camped out in my yard!

I have 3 John Deere dealers closer than the RED & BLUE brands and while their prices are slightly higher they are very knowledgable and really want to sell those GREEN CUT's that have been discontinued (4X1X's)! I might go GREEN if the NH dealer don't get it right, soon.

Pat, I wish I were that close to my NH dealer, I'd be doing the same thing but he is an hour away, they won't touch picking up the tab for pick up & delivery even on warranty. I've asked and they laughed me out of the place, these guys must be making more money than they know what to do with?!?!

Ohdeerfarmer,

I firmly believe New Holland and Case makes one of the better tractors out there. I bought New Holland because I liked the feel of it. And it was priced the best for me. But unfortunately there is dealers out there in every brand that act just the way you say the New Holland and Case dealers did. I would not buy from them. I would buy from a dealer that you feel is going to take care of you after the sale. And if they don't take care of you before the sale they sure as heck will not take care of you after the sale. If your thinking John Deere, and they are close and you feel they will take care of you even if they are a few bucks more that is where I would be doing my dealings. And yes there is other brands out there, check out Kubota, Kioti and Branson and equvalents.

Just my 2 cents.

It's a tough decision. I felt after looking at the JD, Kubota, and NH that the NH was the best for me. In reality, at the size you are looking at they are all excellent. The JD dealers in my area are like the NH dealers in yours. Anyway, if I had to buy again at this size I would take a real close look at the Kioti's. The ck20 is very similar to the TC.

I live in the Northeast Ohio area and have been pricing the NH's and Kubota's as well. Reading other posts, it seems that prices for larger tractors doesnt seem all that different than the smaller ones. I have primarily been looking at the NH TC24DA and 26DA with 12LA loader and 60" midmount deck. We have several NH dealers in this area and these are the price quotes I have gotten, this is the combo Package: $18,250, and the other was $20,000. My pricing goes as such. TC26DA with 60" midmount mowing deck= $14,750, 12LA loader=$3500.00 and of course tax. After reading some of the other posts, it seems that for around the same dollar range and implements some of you have gotten TC33DA's. So basically I just want to know if this is fair pricing for this region or is it a Gouge? I am taking opinions so that way I know if I am looking for the correct tractor:
mowing 3.5 to 4 acres, cutting and dragging trees out of the woods for winter home heating, landscape projects such as laying mulch and leveling gravel driveway. Will this be enough tractor of what is the bang for the buck Compact to
get.
Bottom line here is that there is one NH dealer just south of Canton who has been the fairest, and is looking at how the customer is going to view them after the sale, that is who I would like to get from, but not for the prices. Other dealers have had higher prices and the other was trying to hard to make a sale but not cutting a deal on the price.
Help please, I dont want to get raked on the price, but dont want cruddy service down the road either....
NE ohio area, just south of Akron....

MackVision,
First, welcome to TBN /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

If you're near Canton/Akron, please look up AndyM or PineRidge. They can tell you of at least ONE dealer to stay away from. They both have NH's and know the dealers in NE Ohio.

In SE Ohio the first of April I paid:

$11,900 - NH TC24DA w/loaded R4's, blockheater and rear worklight.

$2750.00 - NH12LA loader w/54" bucket.

$6200.00 - NH756C backhoe w/subframe and 12" bucket.

Took advantage of the 0%/48 months through NH. Good luck, this thing is worth it weight in gold for me......what a backsaver!

Well the saga continues.........

Last week I e-mailed 4 more NH dealers in OH, IH & KY
with my request for the following

TC24DA (HST)
12LA FEL w/54" bucket & tooth bar
756c BH w/12" bucket
Loaded R4's
Roto-Tiller
Rotary Cutter

One dealer, Mechanicsburg Implement, called me and showed interest in selling a tractor! They are 75 miles from my home and didn't have a TC24DA in stock but said they would try and get one. We haggled over price, warranty & maintenance pick up & delivery, etc. and in the end I'm sure I paid too much for a "new" 2004 CUT!!!

Total package was $23,000 and was purchased with 0% interest for 48 months. I could have gotten the JD 4115 for about the same $$ (less bachhoe) and monthly payments were higher since JD will only give 0% for 36 months.....just can't beat the CNH "0-48" finanacing in this model!

The dealer is rounding everything up and should deliver sometime next week!

If you got all that for 23,000, with all those implements, in my opinion, that is a pretty good deal....I am still pricing, and wont be able to buy till I sell my truck. I looked at a used TC29DA, 2001 with FEL, nothing else, 666 hours from a rental company. It seems to have been maintained pretty well, and not hammered on. It had the 7308 loader on it. I dont know much about these. They are asking 11,900 for it....I would still rather go new and pay more....we will see...Enjoy! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Thanks Mac, that makes me feel a little better! Just wish the darn thing would get here! I'm starting to miss my old Kubota and the smell of diesel........
