You saved me a phone call. I do remember someone once mentioning that they changed filters mid production. Sounds like a cost reduction effort to me. All I really care about is that it will do the job. One thing I do know is that there are profound differences from filter to filter (flow rate, filtering area, different micron filter levels, threads, gasket diameters, gasket materials, gasket "spring" just to name a few) It really is a darn shame that there can't be a little more standardization. /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif
