I am experiencing a load humming noise sometimes when driving the New Holland TC26DA, it doesn't sound like it is supposed to be there. Can anyone help identify?

Is this a tractor you own or a tractor you are considering purchasing?
If it has a hydrostatic transmission, could the "humming" be the whine common to most all hydrostatics?

It is my own TC26DA, only has 285 hours on it. It is hydrostatic and I am not sure if this noise is typical because it comes and goes

Possibly in too high of a gear, or depressing the HST pedal/treadle too far without enough throttle. All HSTs will whine if they are being pushed with too high gearing and/or not enough throttle.

It actually only happens in L gear but I have to see if it only happens without enough throttle. it just sounds like a noise that shouldn't be there but I am not used to diesel HST tractors.
