Hiya, i've just started working in sales for a newholland dealer, we dont deal much with compact equipment but have just sold a tc27 with supersteer and a 60 inch mower deck and the hydrostatic transmission. I personally think it is **** hot and would kick arse over any deere or kubota. I just wanna know what you guys think. Anything to make it better? /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Spend an evening running through the New Holland Owning/Operating forums. It's pretty much covered there! Beef up the FEL joysticks levers, don't install thermostats with ball valves that make the 'stat stick open, ventilate the instrument panel so it doesn't fog up, more factory installed lights .......

Oh yeah, by the way, cut the price 20% /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Welcome to TBN. It's always helpful to have some dealer/manufacturer input.

Welcome to TBN!

I didn't know that New Holland was making a TC27D. Did NH really feel a need to fill in the 5hp gap betweem the TC24D and the TC29D? /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

I am glad you are enthusiastic about the products you sell. I think you will find as you look about this site that many feel the Kubota and Deere products (along with a few makers like Kioti, Mahindra, Massey, etc.) are on par with reliability, features, etc.

Yes, some of us are blindly loyal to a particular color, but most of us have found that the DEALER is the biggest deciding factor in our purchase regardless of brand. A good dealer to most of us is one who knows his products well, can listen to/understand our needs, and present a solution to our needs at a fair price. In addition, he must have a quality service department, parts inventory, and trained staff to handle the inevitable failures that occur. Finally, he must be an advocate for the customer, going to bat when the corporate service people insist something is not the manufacturer's fault.

Nose around the different forums. I think you will find that New Holland is just one of several quality brands that are worthy competitors.

Again, welcome!

Borris,

Welcome to TBN!! I have a New Holland TC29D with supersteer and a 72" mower. (when did they make a TC27?). Yes it is a mowing machine, and I would like to think that it would kick *** over the Kubota or John Deere but I think with time you will find out that Kubota and Deere along with the others will do just as good of job. I thank you for your spirit though. New Holland has to be proud of you.

And on the New Holland post we love to hear from a dealer to help us with suggestions and to fix troubles. Thanks for joining and chime in whenever you can.

Murph

ps: talk to much about them other guys and they will all gang up on you.

According the New Holland web site, they don't. It's either a typo by borris or .....

Good find, Don!

My only request to make it better is to import it into the states. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Take a close look at that picture. Is that a rearview mirror, or am I seeing things?

Aha! A "eureka" moment! An out-of-the-US model.

I went back to Borris's profile and looked at his older posts (since he didnt have any profile info) and notices he spelled tires as "tyres" several times. As in, "I looked for me lorry's tyre under the bonnet since it hadn't a boot." Makes sense now - he (and the TC27D) must be in a country that has its British roots.

And, yeah, that DOES look like a rear-view mirror....
