TC27 with supersteer

Looks like a rear view mirrow that you would hit your head on everytime you walked past the tractor. Instead of the mirror saying "Objects are closer than they appear" it would say "watch your **** head"

I guess I just don't understand why, they make a new 24, deleted the 25 to make room for the 24, make a 27 and then a 29.

Well I guess that is why I ride one and don't make them.

murph, doesn't that look like a class 3 frame (TC35,40,45)? I wonder if there is any plan to offer it in the U.S.? Bill C After going to the New Holland U.K. site I see that the TC27 is a class 2 boomer.

I went back to the web page and your right, it does look big, maybe it is just them tires, maybe they want a taller tire for some reason. But does look decieving.

Perusing the specs, it is interesting that the engine displacement on the on the TC27 is the same as the TC29, but the rated RPM is 200 higher on the TC29. I wouldn't be surprised if it's the same engine at a different point on its torque curve. Looking further, the length, height, and weight are identical. It seems like they are basically the same tractor. I did note that the hydraulic flow is lower on the TC27, but the liter per minute ratings for each matches the rated horsepower, so everything seems to line up. A case of repositioning the same product in different markets?

When New Holland first came out with the Boomers, they had a 25, 27, 29 and 33 horsepower iteration. They were the 1530, 1630, 1725 and 1925. The 1530, was the 25 hp, the 1630, was the 27 hp the 1725 was the 29 hp, (and only came in gear), and the 1925 was the 33 hp. So technically the TC27 had been around for a time, only it came out as the 1630, (I know, I have one). Love my tractor. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif
