Tractor
NH TC29D
To all the great PT folks who spent a tremendous amount of time and effort offering their expertise and advice, I wanted to share a couple of pictures with you of my NH TC29D. I know you would rather see PT pics, but as I explained in a previous thread, I just couldn't muster the courage and confidence to get a tractor with no local dealer support.

So, while my heart is still in the PT camp, my check went to NH. This is what was delivered Friday afternoon. I borrowed the idea of a quich release bucket from you guys (ATI) and I will probably get some pallet forks soon. I have a backhoe coming - should be in next week. While signing the papers, I made an impulse buy of a 48" Bush Hog Squealer brush cutter. Should get it next week as well. This is going to be fun.

Thanks for letting me share this with you.

Bruce

Congrats! Cool deal on the Quick-Tach bucket...I've often wondered why all FEL's don't come that way.

You're going to become a VERY popular guy in your neighborhood now!

Very Cool! Looks like a great tractor. So...how many projects do you have planned?

No - not an impulse buy - a considered judgment exercised quickly.

Looks like a good rig. Have fun getting used to it, and, as Dave said, taking care of all those projects your neighbors have been saving for you.

Thanks, Dave. One neighbor who learned about the tractor purchase from my wife asked for help before the dang thing was even delivered. I'm going to have to learn to say "no" at first in order to get my projects done. Then I'll probably be driving around the neighborhood begging people to let me help them just to get some seat time.

Well, Marrt, I have a pool landscaping project that I have put off since last Aug, a playyard rennovation, some land reclammation, small area to prepare for sod, mulching. After that should be a good time to put in some trees. Wifey may want some new planting beds. Next year we should be closing on a 12 acre land deal which will give me ample opportunities to burn some fuel.

Charlie, I was going to just rent a brush cutter until we get more land. However, the ones at the local rental place just don't look well maintained and there are no guards on them. Seemed dangerous to me. So, at the last minute I just said "let's throw in oen of these". Normally, I would have checked into various brands, read reviews, etc. For whatever reason, I felt comfortable with the Bush Hog name and my dealer's endorsement.
