TC29D Grill Guard

I am the owner of a TC29D. I have looked for a Grill Guard for some time and have not found one. It appears that New Holland doesn't make one for the 29D.

When my local dealer checked his OEM catalogue, he was unsuccessful in finding a OEM brand.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

I think by saying you don't have a grill guard, you have also told us you do not have a loader. The 7308 loader has a "grill guard" built-in. I think that's why NH doesn't make a separate guard for your Class II tractor. The Class IIIs have a guard available for around $200. It's a very, very nice fold-down unit that allows the hood to be raised. If you don't ever plan on buying a 7308 loader, you might buy a Class III grill guard and adapt it to your tractor. Otherwise you will be looking to build one from scratch. A picture of the Class III grill guard is attached.

I just got my TC33DA with a grill gaurd. They tell me that the frames on the TC33 and 29 are the same and that the front end on the old models and the new DA's are the same. I'd think one should be available for your TC29. Maybe try another dealer?

When I bought the new tractors for my business and home I ordered 2 grill guards to fit the TC40D .........The one for a TC40d was a direct bolt on with absolutely no modifications to my TC33D...........Should also fit the TC 29 too.........Tom

Could you post a photo? I think we just stumbled upon a discovery! To my prior understanding, NH did not offer a grille guard for Class IIs, just the Class IIIs. Could it be that the same part fits BOTH TRACTOR CLASSES, but since the 16LA Loader can be mounted with it inplace and the 7308 can not, NH lists it as available for Class III ONLY? How about those owners who don't have a loader? How about those owners who would not mind adding & removing the bumper as they add & remove the 7308? I, for one, would get one for my TC33D (with 7308) if it fit well and did not interfere with headlights etc. Just my own $0.02

MGRIGGS this is a exploded picture of the Class III guard. I don't know if it will work for your purpose or not.

That looks just like the one on my TC33DA. I've got the 14LA loader, maybe it doesn't fit with the 7308?
