I operate a small kids summer camp and need a machine I can finish mow about 2 - 3 acres, scrape a bunch of driveway and road, move various types of fill around and, possibly someday, put a small (6 1/2 - 7 1/2')hoe on.I am looking at a TC29D (Hydro & a few bells and whistles) w/7308 FEL, R4's, 350 hrs in great shape overall. The seller is asking $12,800 and seems pretty firm. Good price or not? Good tractor for my needs or not? Any thoughts and opinions appreciated

I'm a little partial because I have this identical tractor, right down to the R4's. Sure, it will handle what you need to do, and probably more. You'll be surprised at the uses you'll find for it, after you get it. At least that's the way it was for me. I can't help you on the price, after I bought my 29 I stopped keeping track of prices. I'm sure there are some other people on this board who can address that. I can tell you, I'm really pleased with mine. If you have any specific questions, I'll be glad to try and answer them.

I'm no expert on prices, but that sure sounds like a bargain to me for a TC29D with front end loader.

Steve,

Recently I priced many Boomers, but not the TC29D. Based on the units I priced (33, 35, 40, 45) it seems like the price you found is a bargain. I'd go for it! It is a great machine.

Steve,

I live in New Hampshire and have gotten Quotes on new stuff, that is a 16,500 tractor new and with 350 hours should be around 14,050.00 and 14,500 if super clean. I have been looking for over a year and I would jump on that deal. As amatter of fact if you decide against it send me the guys tel# and I'll take it !!!!

good luck either way every TC owner I know of is happy with theirs.
