TC29D Temperature Sending Unit

Thanks for the picture. Dealer said my gauge is part of a cluster and whole thing would have to be replaced. I've used an infrared temp sensor on hose and upper radiator at operating temp and it is running where it should.
That's a good thing. Infra red Thermometer is what I used to measure my rig. My worry is that possibility of a hose bursting going thru vegetation and losing antifreeze and not be able to see before it is too late. I am sure cluster is expensive but for my peace of mind I would mount somewhere a stand alone gauge. Do you by any chance have idiot light and then the gauge?

Not aware of temperature light, just gauge.

Ok. I have seen clusters that were actually a back plate to mount several gauges. Have you seen the back of your cluster? those were mainly a lot older tractors and yours is a bit new in tractor world.

No, I haven't seen the back of my cluster (yet).
