Spend $9 and get a new filter. Those paper elements clog with dirt and moisture and can't be "blown" clean.

No, my filter housing doesn't have a drain valve - that would have been nice, though! :)

Is the valve on the filter a drain valve? Often there is a valve to allow you to drain water out of the filter housing assembly at the bottom.

The problem with the TC30 is that the fuel filler tube has an almost 90 degree turn, so you can't see into the tank - not a good design, imo -

I did put a little fresh fuel into the tank and blew it out with compressed air, then replaced the filter, bled the system and it SEEMS to be fine now - the filter didn't seem to be plugged up, but there was a lot of crud in the hosing, so maybe replacing the filter did the trick. Thanks for all the help, guys!

One of the things I did to clean out a fuel tank without removing it is drain all the fuel then make up what looks like a big Q-tip on the end of a clean dowel and scrape the inside of the bottom of the tank. Do this several times until all the gunk is cleaned up being careful to tie the fabric in tight so it will not come off...do not use tape as the adhesive will come off and so will the cloth. After years there is a lot of gunk at the bottom of a fuel tank.
