3-Point Hitch TC30 PTO Operation

SO I'm new to tractors picked up a 2006 TC30 New Holland Love it. Its a gear and I was just checking out the pto operation I'm looking to pick up a brush hog. I thought gear drive had double clutches but it doesn't act that way from what I can tell. The pto appears to engage whether the clutch is depressed or not without grinding. When engaged and I press in the clutch it doesnt stop spinning unless I disengage the pto with the lever. Even the manual says its a double clutch. Anyone have any thoughts?

I have a 99 TC33 gear, the pto stops and goes with the clutch. To my understanding, in the TC series, only the TC29 had the 2 stage clutch. Your tractor is newer, so maybe they changed something. Could be possible the clutch is out of adjustment. Your pto acts like an independent pto, and I am pretty sure only the D and DA models had independent pto. Not much help I know, but there is some more knowledgeable guys on here who could better answer your questions.
