A little off topic but how much approx. would a TC#0 with FEL cost? I too am looking at buying one.

I agree....weight of a 6 footer might be an issue though.

The dealer here in central N.Y. told me the TC30 9x3 $16,670 the TC30 hydro $18,100 with the 7308 QT loader

Hank, I'm not sure what Roy meant, but I don't think he meant the 3PH lift capacity on the TC30. I think he meant needing front ballast to counterbalance a 6' cutter. I think you would need to leave the 7308 FEL installed or add front weight to a TC30. That would be especially true if your work included going up and down hills with the cutter lifted by the 3PH. What has been your experience with your TC30?

Hi Jinman,

I must say I agree with the front ballast issue. I have personally not used a rotary cutter on my tractor but I do know a guy with a 6' rotary cutter and he has a TC30. He has no problem with the weight of the cutter but he does have a FEL installed. It does OK with general tall grass but larger stumps do slow it down. I personally think the 6' is to large for the PTO HP of the TC30. I don't think you will be able to use the cutter to its full potential. I wasn't trying to knock Roy's comment, I just meant that for its size the TC30 can really work it hard. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
