Murph, he is located in Canada, he posted pictures of his lawn. He and I traded a few posts. You can see the dirt through the grass everywhere you look. He actually pointed out how sparce his grass grows becasue of his climate. In his case, I will grant him a "waiver" from the guidelines /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

The class III machines are much more manuverable than you might think. Dad has a TC40DA. It only cost 10% more than a TC33DA. The TC30 gives you lots of bang for the buck. You need to decide if you want to spend a little more time mowing or a little more money on the tractor. The payments only last a few years, the mowing never ends.... You nailed it on the head hazmat.

I'm trying to decide between the TC40DA and the TC30 Hydro. I like the TC33DA, but the TC30 is a bargain compared to it and the 40DA is not much more $ for a lot more tractor.

It's just a big jump (~$5200) to go from TC30 to TC40DA. Not to mention the extra cost of larger implements. But some of those bigger implements would make tasks much quicker.
